How Much Does an End-of-Life Doula Cost in Los Angeles?

One of the first questions families ask me is about cost. I believe in complete transparency here because when you are navigating a terminal diagnosis or the weight of grief, the last thing you need is uncertainty about what support will require of you financially.

Below is a full overview of my services and pricing. Every situation is unique, and I am always willing to have an honest conversation about what feels workable for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is an end-of-life doula covered by insurance? Doula services are generally hired privately and are not covered by insurance. Fees vary by doula and by the scope of services. I am happy to discuss pricing openly so you can determine whether I am the right fit for your needs and budget.

Do you offer sliding scale pricing? If cost is a concern, please reach out. I am committed to meeting people with honesty and care, and I am open to exploring options together. I never want finances to be the reason someone goes without support during this time.

When should I reach out -- is it too early? No. There is no too early. Reaching out before a crisis means we have more time to do this work thoughtfully, on your terms. Many people find that connecting early -- even months before they think they will need support -- creates enormous peace of mind.

What does a first conversation look like? I offer a free 30-minute consultation where you can share your situation, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether my support feels right for you. There is no obligation and no pressure.
